                Recipe Baking: STEAK AND POTATO Directory    

   Recipe Baking: STEAK & POTATO SUPPER


  1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in serving
pieces
1/3 c. flour
4 tbsp. oil
4-6 potatoes
2 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 sm. onion

Batter steak in flour, brown in oil on both sides. Drain and place in casserole dish. Place potatoes around steak. Sprinkle with onion, parsley flakes, salt and pepper. Top with soup. Bake at 300 degrees for 2 hours. Can substitute 16 ounce can tomato sauce for mushroom sauce.

                              Recipe Baking: STEAK AND POTATO CASSEROLE

 1 lg. round steak
Salt and pepper to taste
Flour
2 tbsp. fat
3 to 4 med. potatoes, diced
1 med. onion, chopped

Cut up steak, salt and pepper. Dip in flour, brown in fat in skillet. Place alternate layers of steak, potatoes, onion in casserole and cover. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 4.
