Recipe Baking: SUGAR COOKIE cookie RECIPE Directory Recipe Baking: FAVORITE SUGAR COOKIE 1 c. butter or oleo 3 c. flour 2 eggs 1 c.sugar 3 tbsp. milk 1 tsp. soda 1 tsp. vanilla Combine the butter and flour until crumbly like you would for pie crust. Mix the eggs, sugar, milk, vanilla and soda together and add to the crumbly mixture. Roll dough out and cut in desired shapes. This recipe of dough handles well. Bake until lightly brown in 350 degree oven. For variation use anise flavor at Christmas or lemon for Easter. Frost when baked or sprinkle with colored sugar before baking.
