Recipe Baking: CAKE MIX COOKIES

1 pkg. cake mix, any flavor
1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. oil
1 egg

Optional: coconut, raisins, nuts, chocolate chips, crushed peppermint sticks, food coloring, mashed banana, etc. Measure cake mix, flour, water, oil and egg into a large bowl. Stir until well blended. Stir in any optional ingredients, i.e.-nuts in chocolate, coconut in white, etc. Drop by rounded teaspoonful onto ungreased baking sheet. Dough can be rolled into size of walnuts, and rolled in sugar to make sugar cookies or chopped nuts are good with chocolate. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, or until edges begin to turn brown. Do not overbake. Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
