Recipe Baking: COOKIES FROM CAKE MIX

1 box German chocolate cake mix
5 oz. (sm.) can Pet milk
1 block margarine
1 c. pecans
14 oz. bag caramels
1 bag coconut
1 c. chocolate chips

Mix cake mix, margarine and 3 ounces Pet milk together. Add pecans. Pat; spread 1/2 dough in a 13"x9" pan (no substitute). Bake 6 minutes at 350 degrees. Dissolve caramels with 2 ounces Pet milk. Remove from pan; add chocolate chips and coconut. Drizzle caramel mixture all over. Drop by teaspoonful of remaining dough, then pat out to cover the top. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until it does not shine any more.
