Recipe Baking: BUTTER COOKIES

1 c. butter (or half butter, half
margarine)
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Mix butter (or half butter, half margarine) and vanilla. Add powdered sugar and flour, then nuts. Roll in small balls and slightly flatten in palm of hand. Bake at 325 degrees until bottoms are lightly browned. Shake in powdered sugar while still hot, and again before serving.
