Recipe Baking: CHRISTMAS BALLS

     1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. flaked coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. chopped walnuts
1/4 tsp. almond extract

Mix into sugar and egg mixture all of the above. Pour into ungreased 2 quart casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Crust will form. Mix with fork when you take it out of the oven. Then cool 20 to 30 minutes. Spray hands with Pam or use Crisco and roll mixture into balls. Roll balls in powdered sugar. Store in tupperware container. Good for holidays.
